Is Elementor Pro Still Worth It in 2025?

  1. Nice one. What about v4, which will be released as final version probably by the end of 25. Currently in alpha.
Nothing to write home about or a huge step forward?

(BTW I stick to bd, and oxygen, classic as well as 6,that’s for sure….)

    1. HI, yep is fair to acknowledge the new versions…however, Elementor has been dipping down for a while and I’m not seeing them innovate for both capability and the workflow of the designer…plus, jeez, it’s great not to need so many other plugins.

BD and Oxygen, cool! Use both, however, BD is more suited to the client side, I feel. Ha, for now….fingers crossed they keep it up!

    2. @chrisgoodonlineyes, bd is most convenient for all sides, as long as you do not have huge websites for big companies with permanent growing demand.

For enhanced brochure websites xl however, BD is the best option I feel…

    1. Hi…yep, I’m confident that Ele V4 is not going to come back swinging. It’s still in Alpha…the world is moving on and they’ve lost faith. Happy to stand corrected, but when you’re running an entire web department and your primary tool is dragging in the mud…you have to be ready to step forwards.

  2. Man, I hate Elementor, it’s the most clunky POS thing you could use.

    Really enjoyed seeing this video.

    1. Well…whilst I share the sentiment…I still have misfortune to work on Divi sites from time to time! Now that’s painful!

Are you using Breakdance or something else?

    1. I’ve just shared my views on a new video. But, before you check out mine, I’d love to know yours?

    1. Hi Benjamin…I have just uploaded one…but first, what are your views? Care to give yours before you view mine?

    1. 🤣Ha, well, I wouldn’t mind a payday for an opinion. But, no…I have an affiliate link for BD, if you’d like…mind you…I still have one for Elementor if you’d like that – just wouldn’t advise it.

What do you prefer to use?

  3. Immediate subscribe just bc u where honest and not trying to get me to click a affiliate link for elementor

    1. Ha, but can I interest you in an affiliate link for Breakdance? (Jokes). Thanks for the sub, I hope not to disappoint. What sort of content are you actually looking for?

  4. have you tried bricks and oxygen builder? what are your thoughts on that comparted to breakdance?

    1. Yes, Bricks is my preference…it’s a lot more stable…Oxygen is in a bit of a dev streak at the moment. Going forwards, I’m leaning towards Breakdance, Bricks…Etch.

    1. @akshaysrivastavaofficial I agree. I use Bricks and ACSS…are you using ACSS also? Please check out my later vid on Etch…it is a strong way forwards!

  5. this is why you have 1k subs – yes us lot love swearing but you obvs want to make doe from those courses but youre swearing and the majority will NOT like and move away

  6. I like Elementor but their plans are shit. You pay 400 for Agency plan so you could get at least AI included.

    1. Ahhh, moving to another builder? I recommend Breakdance, Bricks….and -despite my initial video- Etch!

  7. I have watched your video with great interest and am considering changing my newly acquired elementor pro subscription to breakdance. One of the websites I will be building next requires a relatively flexible car booking with dynamic prices based on locations, days, car type etc. – with less tutorials or pre-build templates so far out there, do you think that is still very feasible to quickly implement using breakdance? I’d absolutely appreciate your opinion!

    1. Hi!

Sounds like you’re ready to test out some new tools and I do think Breakdance is great. For what you’re describing, you will need to consider how the underlying booking functionality is going to work. If you’re tying it into Woo, this would likely be using Woo Products Variations and/or Woo Booking. Have you considered this? Or, if payment isn’t required at the moment of booking, you custom post type the cars and you’d use something like FacetWP – which BD integrates with and promotes).

It’s important to separate the desired functionality from the styling/templating of the site (which is what the pagebuilders are most responsible for).

So, to answer the question: Yes, BD is very suited to this – very much more than Elementor. Not to throw too much into the mix, though…have you looked at/tried Bricks? A lifetime deal is available for unlimited websites.

As my journey continues, Bricks (and Etch, is in the making) are more suited to true web development practices, offering more versatility, easier management and higher-grade builds…but there’s a steeper learning curve that I’ll be supporting on this channel, in 2026.

Where are you in your web design journey?

    2. @chrisgoodonline thanks so much for getting back to me, and curious about your next content! I’m still deciding on which booking plugins to use but WooCommerce and FacetWP could be a good combination. I am a newbie to website building (have created 2 websites with elementor but I could also feel some of the downsides myself) and was therefore looking at “simpler” page builder for now ☺

  8. I think is crazy paying for any of these builders when you can create a website totally free. Monthly fee for creating a website? Nuts

    1. Hi, this is a great comment. What is your build process? What do you use and how does that work for your clients?

  9. Agree on Elementor. It’s a pitty and I still use it everyday. They are making improvement but they are to slow as all the fancy fluffy unneeded new features take preference. I really do wish they would focus on nothing but the builder because the plugin ecosystem is great and would follow.

Regarding Divi, surely you dont feel the same way about Divi 5. You seem to think it’s in the same camp as Elementor?

  10. I appreciate your honesty particularly where it concerns your own creation and content.
I built a WP site some time ago as part of a uni assessment which I want to use for my business, but have since had to take it offline due to plugin conflicts.
    I was using the basic
Elementor and until I came across this video, was considering upgrading to Ele Pro.

Well not any more thanks to you, and will now have a gander at Breakdance.

    1. I’m glad this helped. I think you’ll find Breakdance to a be a refreshing change and a step in the right direction. I have free videos on this channel and a course that would help you get going. Check out my latest video on how to style with selectors in Breakdance -> It’s a real step up in professional development and you won’t regret it.

    2. @chr@chrisgoodonline Ah nice one. I’ll give that video a gander shortly and also have a look at your courses.
You have a new subscriber. 🫡

  11. Thanks for your honest review of Elementor it sums up my experience using Elementor, as of yesterdays latest version I’m done with it. Just builder a hero section was frustrating in Elementor and I’ve used it for 6 years.

Looking at Breakdance or Bricks builders, but learning to Breakdance.

    1. Hey…well, yep…time for a change, right?
To keep the momentum of your work for clients, Breakdance is going to be a quick transition for you. However, for long term professional builds, I definitely recommend Bricks…and getting an Etch license to play with. You up to date with your html, css and js?

  12. Chris, I am a Automotive business owner, I have basic WordPress skills, I just signed up for Elementor Pro and this video of yours describes my experience so far. 44 years ago I dumped computer science for auto class. What’s your advice for a person that want’s to build an automotive services website for their business other than farm it out?

    1. Afternoon! My honest advice (and not with ulterior motive) is that if you want it to work properly for your business, then farm it out. There’s much more to do than visually design it. A website is a conversion tool, not a digital business card. However, if you’re intent on doing so yourself, you need (at least) Breakdance.

I have a course available. Pop along to https://learnwebdesignandbusiness.co.uk/

However, if, instead, you’d rather grab a chat, please pop to chrisgood.online and throw me a message…we’ll arrange a (free) 20 minute chat to get your goals in order first.

    2. @chrisgoodonline I am taking your course first, Ill let you know when I am ready for you to take over. Thanks for the response
