  1. Is Elementor Pro worth it? In this video I share my thoughts – I hope you enjoy it!

    1. Yes, you’re essentially paying for future updates within their builder. You also get a discounted renewal rate.

    1. At this point I honestly just think they’re developing at a faster pace, and they have a lot of great plugins/widgets being built specifically for their platform.

  2. So after the year with pro and w/out paying for the next year, that means all the “pro” widgets and the rest of the pro elements will stop working and my website will breakdown?

    1. Hey I found this in the FAQ “What happens if I don’t renew my license after one year? Will Elementor Pro still work?” Replied with “Your existing project will remain intact. The only difference is support, updates, and access to premium templates which require renewal. In addition, Elementor Pro widgets are not draggable if the license is not activated in versions 2.9 and above.” See more info in FAQ! Hope this helps! 🙂

  3. Tom, I’m hoping you would have the time to answer this. I am a newbie and been stuck for weeks. I just refunded my Astra so I could start over with Elementor Pro – but I get so confused about the difference between the theme, templates and the theme builder – then there’s the page builder. I am following you here but I can’t figure out how to choose a theme – seems “hello” is what you need w Elementor yet there are 1800 templates…can you please help me break this down – guess you have to be a Kindergartner to get this stuff LOL. Embarassed to be so simplistic but I’m desperate – thank you!

    1. Hi Jenni,

I assume you want an overview of things here. If this doesn’t help you I apologize in advance!

When you use something like the Elementor page builder it makes things much easier. In all honesty the theme becomes less important as you’re able to use things like envato elements templates (which have lots of free options) on a free theme (like the Hello or Astra free theme version). In terms of a theme the key thing you want is for it to be updated regularly for security reasons. By using the Hello theme or Astra’s free theme as examples, you know that they will be updated regularly because these companies have a lot of incentive to do so. Once you have the theme installed you can use a template if you want to, or build from scratch with the awesome options built into Elementor or Elementor Pro. In reality, you could use a free theme, (Astra), a free starter site (within Astra) or envato elements design (free plugin), and use the free version of Elementor along with maybe 1-2 other free wordpress addons plugins such as premium addons and essential addons and have all the tools to create something awesome and customized.

    2. @teamwpventure i also kinda confused. I need to know if doing as you suggest, I will be able to export the HTML files?.

  4. Hey Tom, i’m kinda stuck here, i checked divi vs beaver vs elementor a while ago. Like a year and people were a bit sceptic about elementor. Should i go with elementor? I am very inexperienced but im pretty good with pcs so i’m learning. Site is live etc, but i couldnt choose a theme so i put it on hold. But last year i also heard u dont needa theme anymore when u use elementor pro right?? what should i do there? My biggest roadblock atm is that theme choosing and wpallimport being like 140 euros. Itll be a home and lifestyle webshop, so I need to load in data xml or csv which can be updated every day from 2 suppliers. Any tip on a good plugin that makes that easy? Wpallimport was VERY complicated, they have good support tho

    1. Sorry I didn’t see this comment earlier Rich. If I were you and the money is tight I’d use a free theme, but a reliable one like Astra, GeneratePress, or OceanWP and start with the free version of Elementor as well. I’ve got some tutorials showing how to make quick websites with them. If there’s things you can’t do it that Elementor Pro could possibly solve it might be worth the $50 to get a single site license. I would start free and upgrade if needed. I hope this helps!

    1. Agreed! The integration is a big part of what I think separates it from other builders.

  5. I love how easily you can customize the menu with Elementor Pro’s nav menu widget!

  6. Has anyone here switched from Beaver builder to Elementor? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

    1. I still use both to this day. I think it depends on your goals and situation honestly. It doesn’t hurt to take advantage of their money back guarantee period and test drive it though!

  7. Is it really worth upgrading? I think getting crocoblock might be better than Elementor pro?

    1. It isn’t for everyone, but I think most would agree that it’s worth it especially if you’re creating sites for others.

  8. If i buy it and after a year i can’t afford it anymore what happens then? Can i still use the profeatures?

  9. I paid for elementor pro lifetime and now it’s saying it’s expired. tried to chat with the staff and the chat system keeps restarting.. dodgy company
